The Secret Aura of The Classical Guitar

What Is It And Can Anyone Tap Into It ?

The Classical Guitar has the amazing and unique ability to
focus our attention on certain critical elements of how sound
can affect our sense of musicality.

The Guitar can also be approached casually, playing notes
without any particular purpose other than to hear various
harmonies created by the physical strings played with a pick
or finger style.

For the serious student of Classical Guitar, however, a unique
portal awaits those who wish to explore a path seldom taken.

This “Portal” or “Aura” is what my first lesson in my
“Mastering The Five Disciplines” course  is all about.

It is THE most single critical element to grasp as a
classical guitarist. 

I call it “Tone Centering” and should be the first lesson for any
student of classical guitar to learn and understand.

course and immerse themselves into learning “Tone Centering”
first and foremost.

It is half a physical skill and half a perception ability of what if
feels like to have a sensitivity to this otherwise hidden world.

Many players never reach this plateau but it can be reached
even if you are a beginner to the instrument bringing you light
years closer to a rich world of expression on the instrument.

But to learn how to become sensitive to this phenomenon and
make it work for you,  one has to first learn what it means  to
“see” a visual Aura in order to understand how the guitar’s sonic
aura is “heard”.

It is all about both the left and right hemispheres of the brain
communicating together and a good way to begin this exercise
is with using visual auras as a metaphor for sonic auras.

Once you can “hear” this aura, the richness of playing your
classical guitar will increase exponentially and your playing
will suddenly jump into the effortless zone.
